Ok millions of you out there prob seen one well before now... I had not, some how targeted one so took the oppertunity to post the shot here for thoughs yet to see these little things.

Nice one JAY. Ethereal looking little blighters eh? I miss the days when I could have a "contrail" of space flies in my wake and X3 seems much less without them :(

I didn't see one till I installed 1.3. Now I'm finding them all over the place.

I see they never updated them to be a bit more detailed than x2 as it looks like its just from x2 still.

Are the reports of flies in Bala Gi's Joy true? Never got around to checking them out tho I did hear them as I SETA'd by.

Thanks for the post. I have about 29 hours of X3 time, and have yet to see a space fly out in space. I tried opening a crate of them I found with a laser, and I ended up with a large number of glowing fly and box bits travelling rapidly away from the impact point.

I have also seen them only since 1.3, but the thing that annoys me most is that if you try and target and they are near you, it will always lock onto them. Very awkward when your in a battle :roll:

I see your taking about X3, I am waiting for it to arrive so i still have X2.
Sometines i am telling factories etc. what to do for ages and not moving my ship, and then a swarm of space flies start buzzing arround me, they do that where ever i go, i just need to stay still, if i had a space fly catcher i would make alot of credits.

Caught approx 50k worth in Brennans Triumph yesterday. Also had another load from within a race sector but got scanned and had to dump them sharpish.

Nice to see they are still around :)
