I have tried all that. nothing works. and i have the file in the folder with all the others in..(Maps, Mods, objects ETC), i Re-init the editor, still nothing.

Ok, this is very humbling. I cant figure this out.

Here is what I am doing, PLEASE correct me.

1. Downloaded the file to my main x3 file, NOT the scripts file, the one outside that.
2. Booted up the game, entered Thereshallbewings and got the script editor
3. Pressed the re-int function ONCE and then went back to the HUD
4. Entered my ships command console, nothing.

Right I have just installed a shop copy of X3 to a dif directory.

Install instructions

1. Unpack to your main X3 directory
2. Start Game
3. Open the SE (Thereshallbewings)
4. Press re-init script caches once

Commands will now be in the menu unless you have done something wrong.

Is the 'General' menu supposed to be in with all the ship commands like...Navigation, Combat and Special?

Okay, this one's fun.

I like having another alt start, started a new game, and scripted in a caiman hauler, and [kill]ed the starting ships, so instead of starting with a bad trader and a decent fighter, i get only a very good trader to start.

But then I also started to have fun doubling the argon fleet, scripted in a dozen of khakk destroyers that belonged to the argon, and scripted in an enemy fleet in argon prime and started watching the big fight.

14 argon capships(agon one, the titan and 12 KM2and rays VS 12 phoenixes that belonged to [enemy race].

Killed my computer but was fun as hell to watch!

And if you're still having problems getting this to work, check your scripts directory and make sure there's not a folder called scripts inside the scripts directory *grins*

A friend of mine was having trouble with this until I told him to look inside his scripts and t folders.

He'd extracted the scripts/t folders with paths enabled and managed to create two new folders inside each one.

I just cant get this to work.
I extrakted the files to the right dir.
Started a new game.
*no new command to find*
Started the script editor
*did not find any of the scripts i need to run*
Did a reinit script
*did not find any script to run and no new command*
the scripts are in .xml, but the ather scripts in the dir are in .pck
can this be the problem?
ppl im at a total loss hear...
I have done evrything exactly as you sayd...but it just dosent work.

This problem is a tuff one.
Will try ather scripts to se if i get the same problem.

K, got it to run and all, v nice, thanks, but the create ship thing doesn't work... no matter what class I choose I always get a Titan...
