A very British UFO Hoax

Post by Guest »

Did anyone on the Forum in the UK see the above program on Channel 4 tonight ?

It brought a smile to my face knowing that we can still produce hoaxes of this quality that becomes news around the world.

Maybe oneday we will actually see a real flying saucer :)

Very funny indeed. I loved the way the news networks picked the story up straight away!

Yeah I liked it, especially when it was flying about, and you could see in the middle-distance cars stopping, switching on the hazard-indicators, the drivers getting out and gaping a the sky

Also did you notice how most of the reports contained the words "Make of this what you will"?

Personally if they had any sence they'll stay well away from this miserable planet.

However they say that truth is stranger than fiction and in that respect then i think we are all going to be in for quite a surprise before long.

I rather enjoyed it myself, though my girlfriend and I kept joking about how we expected all the blokes to have t-shirts with alien's heads and "I believe" on them.

Didn't transpire, but the interview with a witness where the interviewer asked "were there any hostileries about?" was bloody funny, as if to say "are you drunk?"
