ok ive been messing around with a few ships from unreal tournament as some may remember from an earlier post, so far ive got the Skarjj fighter into the game succesfully but there are a few things i was hoping someone could help me with, heres a few pictures
now for the questions, as you may notice its only fireing 3 guns, it has 4 in both the scene and in the tships entry, so i was wondering if maybe the last gun is too close to the body that it doesnt work or if its something else that i wont get fixed by guessing. secondly for the cockpit, i gave up on a few ships before because i could never get the cockpit object to work for me, but the camera dummy seems to work for most so i thought id try it, should i place the camera dummy farther from the ship (its just outside the window) and would that get the guns and body out of view, as you can see a couple of unwanted lines and a couple of guns, i dont know if its anything to do with the cockpit callback or what, but any suggestions on fixing how the cockpit looks would be good, and last but not least, what do you think so far?
edit: it uses a multimaterial and when i was rerouting to the x3 directory i may have messed them up, so half the ships textures might be wrong, but easy fix.

ive tried changing the textures to an x3 material but that just made the ship invisible so the textures seem to be ok but not as high rez as id hoped, as for the guns ive tried renaming objects and changing the gun entries in the tships for the ship but still can only get 3 out of 4 guns to fire, its the gun in bay 4 if that helps anyone, and as for the cockpit its still a bit messed up, i tried repositioning the front monted guns that are visible in the cockpit view to the top side of the wings, theyre still visible but its not as annoying but theres still the lines from the mesh, despite moving the cammeradummy further infront of the ship, havent tried it with the cockpit mod off but i like playing with the cockpits as im sure most do so it wouldnt matter anyways, the ship is playable the now anyways, it fires 75% of the guns and the cockpit annoyances arent in the way of seeing the target, even managed to last a whole 30 seconds of laggy combat against a Titan which isnt bad i thought, considering it was the crash that got me, but anyway id like it 100% and any help on how to fix these problems would be appreciated.

i got the guns working!, and once i did i replaced the guns with invisible weapons so i can mount 2 on the mesh's own guns and 2 near where the wings join, and they all shoot!, for test purposes they only fire HEPTs but thats easy enough to change, and now the guns dont get into the way of the cockpit view, so the only thing left is getting the lines from the mesh out of the cockpit view, im pretty sure its cause the position of the cammeradummy but ive tried moving it with xform and all, only thing ive not done is move everything but the cammeradummy back, my next step but i can only wait so many half hours for the game to load for each test, so if anyone knows why exactly the camera dummy keeps showing up on the inside of the mesh, id really appreciate it....

sure thing, its playable the now but the cockpit view is a bit annoying, just to fix that and set the stats.
