Hi all

I have done a map generator. It is one with a database behind. One can change many settings (a simple form is was provided in forehand, many thanks to Dr.Sid!) - please use the link in this post.

It's also ready to generate custom arranged maps (mods, conversion), please PM if you are in need for one...

These pictures are generated from a DB by scripts. You have the possibility to change almost everything (colors, sizes, fonts etc).

now i know where all entrances to argon space is and i can laser tower all places so paranid cant enter argon space muahahaha

when the crash and sound loop stop:)
they have had almost 1000 years to terraform Aldrin, why are they all still sitting around a giant rock?

the sectors start from 0,0 not 1,1

Yes good map but also the count on the terracorp stations is a bit.. 'off' too :p

Logically i would start at 0, 0...

But i think the community counts from 1, 1 (looked at some tuts with coordinates).

@ abount stationcount

station count is off - an almost implemented feature :D

all sector maps and free ships and other files for X3 use coordinates starting from 0,0

Every single guide and ingame script start from 0,0 which is kingdom end.
Using 2 systems is confusing for newbies.

not only with this map. I docked at the Don's station (the maruader) and got a message saying welcome to terracorp earlier....

Ok .. this map LOOKS good. But it is really pain to read if printed. Please can you make black&white version with larger fonts ? Like this my laser-printer uses dithering (for both background and fonts, since it is just a bitmap) and final map is really impossible to read even if printed to A4 paper.

Also informations about stations looks very same for each station type .. it is not easy to spot what you are looking for. Good idea is to use some symbols - or big letters (S for shipyrad, E for equipment dock, P for pirate base, * for SPP or something like that).

Sorry for whining .. but your map misses just a little to be perfect.

Perfect, I needed one that would be easy to printout sections ..............for really BIG map on the wall

changed to 0,0 @ kingdoms end, fixed station count (counts just 1 SP per sector)

you are invited to experiment for a map after your liking :) the options are within the URL and can be changed there:

Example: Hover for Link

Ok .. I played with it a little .. and I like it.
It would be nice to set size of font of station names. Also station alpha does not seem to work or I am doing something wrong.

if you min that x:y numbers above race name in sector rectangle .. it is sector coordinates.
