Race Invasions
(Version 1.0.10 - 07. June 2007)


Overview Race Invasions
  • It's starts attacks between Argon -> Xenon or Kha'ak -> Teladi.
  • The invasions are extreme flexible, because the attack-strenge has a relation to the attacked sector.
  • The player is also calculated in this factor.
  • The player receives messages at the beginning and at the end of each invasion, so he is able to get into the invasion and help.
  • No invasions runs like an other.
  • You will get paid for your help.

Preparation Race Invasions

The Downloading

-> Race Invasions (Version 1.0.10)

Important: Old versions of this script should be deleted! Batch-File is included!

Requirements: X³ Reunion since 1.4.03


The Installation

First of all you have to activate the ScriptEditor by entering "Thereshallbewings" as new player name. After that the name should reset to the old value. Simple extract the filestructure into your game directionary. After this you should save your game and restart it. Because of the activation of the ScriptEditor your game will get 'Modified'. It isn't possible to remove this again from the savegame you have used.


The Procedure

After the installation of the plugin it will take some time, before you get the first message.

Tested around a bit and Yes!, after waiting for some minutes on seta, I got my first Boron cry for help, great!

So I jumped in with my mamba and ehm..I got a great slideshow :(
I know there are also small encouters, but the big battles definetly have to go for me, framrate just becomes unbarable.

Could you plz make a 'light' version of the script (some big ships, some small ones, the usual mix, but no more then -lets say- 8/10 for each side in the skirmish)...much appriciation if you would.

Bug/Tweak..in the battle the big ships engaged rather suicidal, they just kept crashing into eachother....brave brave Borons..

I am using both this script, LV's JTP race response scripts and LV's Arena war script where battles happen in random sectors. It is creating a serious amount of crazy things going on haha. Let's just say I am not lacking in battles if I want them. Thankfully my pc can handle large battles with no slowdown

Doesnt work so well for me, i only get "()null" or something like that instead of the actual sector name, yes i extracted the files correctly.

Of course, altough i got some other scripts running, the Escort script, Jump To Protect, and Bounty Hunter.
BTW, why "The english X3 Version can only be found in the german forum`"? Just add the link here? ;)

Hello, i also have from time to time a "nul 0 | 0" as sector to go.

English 1.2.0.1 , also scripts like fleet response.

And i noticed its unplayable in system with lot of visual stuffs like big planet , asteroids and clouds. in xenons systems its perfect.

Ok, i checked the language file.. i can't find an error..

I can't test it with the english version, sorry.

Is there a difference of the subtypes in X3 between german and english version ?

I just got a load of garbage when I tried to download this.

The autoredirect on your site gave me a 304 error. The manual link first gave me a screen full of garbage and the second attempt the file can't be opened.

hi there, i would just like to make a point

when you said evil races, at first i thought you meant split/paranid would invade argon/boron and vice versa! Xenon/Kha'ak vs all makes more sense, true, but you should make the distinction in the topic.
