Same problem here, loaded up my game which I saved in space after visiting a station and it won't allow me to control my ship. The only control that's responsive is the esc/start menu.

Silent update to 1.13 did not resolve the issue.

Same issue, please fix this ASAP egosoft. I have a difficult time paying $50 for a game I can't play. I don't want to request a refund from steam but will if this is not fixed fast.

Yeah I keep 10 different save states now, making saves every few minutes to avoid this problem. Have not had it happen again since the first time but that save was still broken, so I just overwrote it once I had passed that point in campaign again.

Having this same problem. Stuck in space above the solar plant in DeVries and can't move. My only other save (MANY hours prior, after dropping off the 100 E-cells at Lonely Giant) works fine, but my current one does not.

Stuck at the exact same spot. Alt+Tab does not help, all keys are locked. I can hail passing ships and that's about it. I get shot and killed while basically being a sitting duck.

Please give us some indication that you are working on this issue!

Having the same problem sadly.. if anyone has a save they could give me that's around this mission, that'd be awesome :)

Add me to the list. Have the same bug with a "Free Play" game. Too bad, it was just getting interesting after 10 hours.

Had it happen to me once. Unfortunately I don't have a solution for your already corrupted saves. Only a preventive measure:
Don't save until the HUD elements are fully loaded. It seems the game just dumps everything as is to the savegame XML (so without the HUD).
I will try to investigate the saved scripts further. Maybe adding a few missing lines could help.
