space suit repair laser for X-3 reunion

i just started playing x3 reunion again after not playing it for a long time and the space suit is now missing the repair laser do i need to buy it from somewhere or was it removed in an update patch ? i used the search functions on the forums but i cant find anything on it.

The repair laser in the space suit was first introduced with X3: Terran Conflict, the game after X3: Reunion.

thank you i thought it was in reunion but it has been so long since i played either game i have forgotten what game has what features
