Not much explination needed here. Where do you buy the Software Signature Scrambler in X3AP?
Dukes Haven is constantly mad at me (Serves me right for blowing up their freighters) and there are no BBS in the pirate stations.

Dukes Haven it is.

Destroy the Dukes station.
Then work hard on upping your rep before it re-spawns

Apparantly it respawns. It was blown up when i was there the first 10ish times. I thought it wasn't included. I was lucky at time nr 11.

in X3TC I came across a hack-station "mission" which could be used at the Duke's station.
if hacking is still available in AP, then that would be an option too.

I may be wrong but I'm sure I saw it at another random Pirate Station too.

^^ This is the best/quickest answer.

(TTD's suggestion to destroy the Duke's HQ will also work -- but it can take a long time for the re-spawn.)

In patriachs conclusion there is amilitary post that offers a quest to make dukes haven neutral. when you enter the sector with dukes make sure you are flying a new ship and that you have your turrets set to no action, then fly in. if you aggro the bunch floating around you will never make it and the station will be red but still dockable but very hard

OK that useful advice, but that's also a 7 year necro in case you hadn't noticed.

The mission offer to make neutral or hack a station is not especially tied to any particular station but can appear randomly at stations with light bulb icons (with Pirate-owned and Teladi stations being preferred) that lie within a 3-5 jump radius of the hostile station. A relevant X3TC thread.
