Pitch black... all custom ships are for me (GTX 980Ti)
Literally every X4 ship mod got issues with textures / shaders since Beta 3.0 ~ (RTX 2080) here

Hey look at that! Is it me or did 3.0 beta 3 fix the issue?

Yes, 3.0 fixed the issue with that, so modded ships and other things are fine.

For an X2 ship, it looks suprisingly good.
Looking forward to final version with turrets and docking bays.

Thank you for your kind words mileniumman.

And no Mr.WHO. Im going to update all the ships i made so far, small improvements and getting rid of all those bugs people reported. its about time for that.

and the next ship ill make will be a Heavy Fighter for my Crucible Corp. It will also be the first one i modeled all on my own. Or at least most of it.

VRO for 3.0 breaks some of the BrummBear ships (Medium and Small Ships Exlusively) making them unable to equip weapons. Large ships are unaffected as far as I have been able to see. Have yet to test with other mods that add Ships. Posting this here in case you can fix it on your end, but am including on his forum in-case he needs to do so on his end,

Its easy fixable on Brummbears side.
Weapon connections in component files should be updated to allow tags of VRo light and heavy guns, "lgun" and "hgun" respectively, it can be either of them or both, depending how much firepower is required. I suggest to not have all-heavy guns if there are more than 4 of them on ship. It has no impact on vanilla, it will just allow to fit VRO weapons.
e.g. teladi buzzard weapons, note lgun, hgun tags:

Id love to see either the m6 teladi ospray or m6 split dragon from x2 in x4 and act like they did in those games. If poss and theres time in ur schedule of course.

Oh the x2 titan looks amazing btw. Nice job on it.

Possible Bug: The New Titan Shows up twice as Titan and Schreckfeuer with identical stats.

Possible Ship: XL ship that ALL SHIPS can dock with.

(MOBILE SPACE TRADE STATION CITY!!!!!!!)

Would be awesome if you could use the Teladi's Trade Station design with inner docking/services for S and M ships then have the L and XL ports be like the Maintenance Bays as to allow Side docking for In-Line Travel with the station/ship.

You would be a true X4 Hero if you can make this dream come true. :-D

thats not a bug. thats because u use VRO and VRO has my titan in it. the Schreckfeuer is the standalone ship and the titan is part of VRO.
im pretty busy with all my own projects so i dont think i can make your dream come true :P

that also goes for the other requests. i have my hands pretty much full ^^

I started with updating old ships since there are some construction sites left and i also got a lot better with blender.

Starting with the Koha:

Version 1.3
- Put weapons into some kind of order
- Made the mesh damaged to fit the "pirate lore" of the ship
- Argons will now sometimes build and use this ship as heavy fighter. This is a temporary thing till i figure out how to only make pirates use this ship.

do you have an opinion about a crashes that occur to me with your tension troop transport mod? After I open the encyclopedia, the game crashes.
I've also installed VRO and the xr ship mod. Maybe there's the problem?

i had this issue with the titan/schreckfeuer and shes part of VRO. but i never figured out what exactly it was. its just gone after some time... so i cant replicate that issue and thus cant fix it. if i run into it again ill tell you.

Btw: your mod doesn't break the save when it's deinstalled, right?
