It's funny how he goes on about Brexit being a good thing for the UK, which is another reason why it probably isn't. But anyway, I take it he hasn't noticed that Brexit will probably also be the end of the the UK, where Scotland will vote for independence away from England and the rest of the UK. Here's the thing, he is not liked in Scotland, he is actually pretty well despised by the mass majority of the Scottish people. The Scottish government even petitioned that he be banned from entering the UK, which was ultimately blocked by the UK government, we currently don't have control over the borders, but when Scotland becomes and independent country away from the UK government with full control over our borders, what does he think is going to happen.

If it doesn't impact his bottom line, I can guarantee you he doesn't care. It was obvious from day one his whole purpose for being in office was to stroke his ego but mostly to manipulate tax laws and policy to favor his holdings. Anything/everything else related to the office for him is just either pandering to the hillbillies or an inconsequential (to him) circumstance that he was forced to do something work adjacent on. Why else do you think he spends half the day watching his favorite Fox and Friends reruns and spamming twitter with his hamburder nonsense?

What I see him as is a giant roadblock to socialists. I want the biggest, loudest, meanest guy I can get to be in front of that effort.

You are just saying that to try to delegitimize my views which haven't changed in decades and many of which used to be shared by democrats who were willing to live peaceably with me back then. I think you should probably recognize at this point that it isn't me trying to rule you. I have my views on government and way of life and they are grounded on something permanent. I don't change. No, we most definitely don't want it to crash and burn. We just know the right winger's vendetta against anything that isn't straight, white, male, and "christian" is a cancer that erodes the core of anything resembling decency, freedom, and democracy.

Not to mention, the so called president doesn't even represent the majority of the people. We're in an unusual situation where the popular vote did not go to Trump. The electoral college put this clown in office, the people did not. Other than the extremely narrow election of W back in 2000, we haven't had this situation since the 1800's.

By and large, Americans do not reflect the views that emanate from the current administration. Most of us would rather lift others up than to climb over them to reach the top. As I come from Germany, where we've had a right wing and - in the eastern part - a socialist government in the last 100 years ... hell yes, I can tell you something worse than socialism. The contest is not even close.
Also, I'd say that the weird combination of anarchy and policestate that parts (not necessarily the same parts) of the republicans promote, or any type of religious based state (whether bible thumper, islamic or anything else doesn't really matter) would be worse.

I kind of get the feeling you have no idea what socialism actually is, or you would know that the US is in no danger whatsoever of getting it. You don't have a significant party supporting it. Yes, not even the evil Democrats. In most countries on earth, a party like the Democrats would be considered on the conservative side of the spectrum, and even there most of the parties making up the left side (yes, WAY more "lefty" than the Democrats) do not promote socialism.

As a sidenote, you do realize you are only fighting to keep freedoms you like, and ignore others? For example, I loved my freedom to go to a school without metal detectors and live in a society where any shootings, let alone mass shootings are extremely rare, where I can go pretty much anywhere I like at any time of day without fear of getting mugged or otherwise assaulted. If you lived here, you would want to take that freedom away from me to get your freedom to own guns.

As another sidenote, it's kind of hilarious that you really seem to think putting your fingers in your ears and shouting "lalala, racism doesn't exist, stop saying it does" somehow should eliminate racism ... racists everywhere would just love for all people to follow your lead.
