Steam/GOG etc - Free Stuff (or very, very cheap)

In honor of Finland's 100'th anniversary of freedom, Steam is having a big sale on all Finnish games! There are some pretty decent discounts and a wide selection of "known" titles in that.

(+1 For Steam publicizing that a bit, but then again, they're whores... soooo, any excuse for a sale is a good excuse! (Being a "whore" isn't a bad thing in this context.))

Still, there are probably enough people who already forgot, do nor open UPlay on a daily basis or visit gaming news websites - like mepjknibbs wrote:Yeah, Observe already said that on the previous page.burger1 wrote:Assassins Creed Black Flag free on UPlay

No idea if this reaches anybody here:
For the Nintendo switch you can get Pinball FX3 with 2 extra DLC tables for free this week (3 in total).
Only the core game with one table is for free after this week, additional tables need to be purchased.
Maybe this is the completly wrong forum for that but maybe it reaches someone

GOG's Christmas sale is up.
I got Crysis for a little under 4 quid (to see what the fuss is/was all about) but also Battle Isle Platinum for half that. I also got Settlers 2 Gold and Panzer General 3D Assault for not very much.
I've never played Battle Isle but I was a big fan of one of Blue Byte's other titles called Historyline, which apparently used the same engine. Now I used to love Historyline* back in the Amiga-day and so I figured it'd be good to play what is apparently regarded as one of the finest releases of that genre.
Imagine, then, how chuffed I was to realise that, for £1.89, I got six games including Historyline!
Now I just need to remember how to save my progress. One of the F keys I'm sure..
*Historyline 1914-1918 is a simple yet solid turn-based wargame on a hex map that intersperses the action with two month chunks of info about how the first world war played out. Very educational
