Trump already has thought about it and said, "OK, it's not happening, let's just carry on as we are".

You wrote "thought." I think you may need to revise that. Smile

Far too generous...

Proof: I found a turnip on the kitchen counter and asked it what it thought about the issue:

"It's going to be yuuuge. Fantastic, the best you've ever seen. Sad."

I would have asked it how it voted, but it was late for its golf game.

Since someone has to to post positive about Trump to balance things a bit:

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-41181209

Basically Trump went against the wish of Senate Republican and cut a deal with minority Democrat so that relief funding can be sent to relief afford quickly. inb4 someone calls him a closet democrat.

There is much politics at play here.
And to be fair the reason the Rebublicans were opposing it was they were pushing to get more (a longer term increase to the debt ceiling).

https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2017/09/trumps-christmas-gift-to-democrats/539022/

But all this scheming is likely to have at least one short term positive outcome for the American people and quite possibly another big win if Trump can be leveraged to switch teams over DACA.

So yeah, good news!

The sun rises in the west again this morning. Wink

And just common courtesy for liberal to cast the event in the most negative tone possible, Trump must look bad, even when he sides with and favor them:

The GOP didn't want debt limit to be an issue during their 2018 primary. Now it is, and DACA with it. Strategery.

So now we have to determine if random or planned....

Lucky pjknibbs gave him the benefit of the doubt.

I was surprised in a good way to hear that. At the very least he might yet handle this crisis properly. It wouldn't be nearly enough to redeem him in my eye, but at least it's a start.

I haven't read through all 204 pages... No offense guys, but no, ain't gonna happen.

THE WALL

Seriously? What's the deal? They are building a bunch of 'test' walls to 'test' walls? WTF? Is this the first wall ever built? Have they exclusively hired pastry companies instead of wall building companies?

Why are they needing to build test walls?

My theory is this:

1) Trump knows he will lose the next election by a landslide.
2) He wants to save face on building the wall.
3) He knows that the next president will NOT be building a wall.
4) He doesn't want his legacy to be "$2Trillion wasted on 4 miles of wall".
5) These wall tests are going to last the length of his presidency and we will never hear about them again... Until David Hasselhoff sings on top of the wall and it's knocked down.

His legacy is going to be Coffefe, a bunch of memes, the Russia thing and a whole lot of more incompetance than any other president in history (I think)

His best hope at this point is that he makes it to the point of losing the election and not being booted out first.

Will this thread last longer than he does is what I want to know...
