Can't see what is in containers anymore. What have I done??

Can anyone provide me with an answer to my problem?

When I target dropped containers, I can no longer see their contents before I decide if I want to pick them up.

All I see now is that I have targeted a container.

This happened after i gave an order to another one of my ships.

How do I get to see what is in the containers before I decide if I want to collect them or not?

Are you also getting reduced info about other things in your radar display? Try your radar text toggle hotkey, that might fix your problem. (If you don't know what it is, look it up in your keyboard config - I forget its exact name, but there are two, the other is the radar mode toggle that switches between 2D top-down and 3D inclined views.)

Try Shift+R. I think that toggles the monitor info overlay.

I had the same issue, and this fixed it. I'm pretty sure I inadvertently toggled it while trying to use SHIFT-E to target enemies in combat.
