It stopped working... so that implies that it did work before ?
Did you make any changes recently, that might narrow down the issue?

Generally, make sure you are on the very latest drivers. Our game is Vulkan-based and even 1-2 months old drivers can cause problems. One customer had success reinstalling his nvidia-graphics drivers and "resetting" some custom changes.

Notes: Code -3 means VK_ERROR_INITIALIZATION_FAILED.

Excuse me. It doesn't work from first time, so there are no successful launch.

I try reinstalling drivers and X rebirth VR, but it still not works.

I'll try another way. Thank you.

I have the same problem. Similar error message with "Code revision 243618"

The drivers are up to date.
My System:
I5 - 4670K
Asus GTX 980 Ti Strix OC
16 GByte Ram
Gigabyte Z87 D3HP Motherboard
Windos 10 64bit (Version 1703)

Any Idea how to solve the problem?

Summary: It basically means Vulkan cannot find your graphics card, due to issues with the graphics driver. A simple driver re-install may _not_ be sufficient to get it working again.

For reference for other customers with this issue, see this thread with a possible solution for err=-3.

I uninstalled drivers with DDU and old vulkan runtimes.
It makes XRVR launch sucessfully.

I think that some registry keys might cause ploblem.
