Corrupt X3AP savegames after update - modded game.

I am now getting "Error loading savegame, may be corrupt!" when I try to load up my v3.1 saves in X3AP.

What can I do?

I have been playing X3AP again recently from where I left off that many years ago. Today I see I got a new upgrade from Stream.

I can start a New Game without any problems. However I am not interested in starting from the beginning again.

Any free hoster will do. Our FAQ on sharing files lists mediafire.com, Dropbox and GoogleDrive, whereby all of those require a registration. If you don't want to do that, a registration free website is sendspace.com.

Thanks for the savegame. I can confirm that it doesn't load in X3AP version 3.2. Loading the save in X3AP version 3.1 works, but I'm greeted by a custom script window, which, judging from the readtext error, is from the Salvage Claim Software MK1 by TECSG. Do you use other scripts or mods in your game?

Installed Archives: Anarkis Defense System, Crystal Free SPP, DockTS, gates_no_rep_loss, Grax remove rocks, Improved Khaak 2, lv_lib 2.6, Missile Defense Mosquito, MK3 Trade Command Software Opt, Pirate Guild 3, Salvage Command Suite, X3AP-Apricot Salvage Pack, Yaki Armada 2

Mods: Mobile Ship Repairs.

The savegame problem seems to be related to the Salvage Command Suite. I installed the latest version in X3AP 3.1, loaded your savegame, deactivated the script through its interface, saved and tried to load that savegame in X3AP 3.2 then, which works fine. I uploaded the savegame here (on mediafire.com). I cannot tell you what the exact problem is though or whether it's safe to install the Salvage Command Suite under X3AP 3.2 again.

As you're using several scripts and mods (some which even replace existing game files) in future you may want to consider creating a second installation independent from Steam (using the NoSteam.exe). That way when a new update is released, you don't have to test the compatibility of your scripts and mods with your live version.
