No you can't. Megauploads was shut down by the US Federal Government almost a week or two ago.....

So you'll have to find a different service to upload that file.

I am trying to use this in AP with XRM and it doesn't quite work properly:

I took Circle of Labour from the Argons. The sector becomes mine, but the previous owner still sends in border patrols and OTAS Contractor Boreas to build their own stations. They don't try to destroy my station they just build their own. The sector ownership remains mine even after they build a trade dock. I have tried to find any reference to OTAS Contractors in my script folder (grep) but it appears to be a new feature of AP. Any confirmation or work arounds other than arming my sector extremely heavily?
Another annoying this is that I can't just cover the gates with OWPs because the enemies just jump in at random locations.

yeah, the jumping in at random locations is annoying, technically there spawning, yet what technology do they have to do such a thing?

again AP is well, by spawning in random location pretty makes guarding the jump gates a waste of time now.

I tried getting this but after having such a hard time working it out i gave up on it, it's very frustrating. :evil:

Is it because I have UAC on? (Im on VISTA...)

If so.... :headbang:

If not, then what the heck is wrong with the plugin manager....

Hi all,

can anyone confirm if this works with ap 2.0?

I'm also slightly unclear on if this will allow me to claim a sector
and stop npc stations and ships spawning in it, otherwise seems pointless.

Yes this works in AP 2.0. Simply destroy any docks in the sector and then place your own down. Thenn if you have Navigation Command Software and option will appear in your ships menu under "custom", select that and if all works well the sector is yours.
Yes NPC's don't spawn there, they only spawn in their own sectors.
1940s - Various "computers" are "programmed" using direct wiring and switches. Engineers do this in order to avoid the tabs vs spaces debate.

ahhh jolly good thank you,

how about npc stations? do they still spawn in owned sectors?
will be a bit weird having war targets building sweet shops next to my hq.


EDIT>

yeah does not seem to work so well for stopping races spawning in claimed sectors, I cleared out all the areas around pananid prime, claimed it and waited.

after 15 mins civ ships respawned so yeah no big deal some towers will take care of them but then a few mins later i came back to my pc to find a zeus sitting on my face.

seems if you want to play this game as an rts your better off just getting sins of a solar empire.

shame :(

While this works, mostly, its somewhat buggy. Tried making the galaxy a better place to live in (to be honest, only did it to make more profit...) I invaded and claimed Xenon sectors. Yet, they still spawn ships and sometimes respawns stations, makes it rather ineffective to claim the sector.

Lazerath website is unavailable. I've been able to get my hands on a french version of this mod. Could it lead to any issue (except french text) to use it in an english game?

The 8875.xml is English. Rename it to 8875-L044.xml to use it in an English game.

Otherwise, it should be fine.
