another AI bug. Rahmana will not "take me to"

Just got finished buying 3040 units of food rations in Gushing spring.

Called up the captain from inside the cargo bay.

Told him to fly me to Fervid Corona.

He acknowledged.

10 minutes later he is still sitting here. Left the ship to see if he was moving finally, nada, no movement at all.

am going to reboard, cancel the command and have him do it again.

Have now reissued the order and he is moving.

Is this what we have to do? Exit the ship, re-enter the ship and give the skipper the command a second time?

There is a bug with Fly to Position via the map causing it not to work on one particular map scale (Sector Map when selecting a zone, IIRC) but the acknowledgement is still given by the commander. Selecting a position within a zone map should work, or issuing the order while on the zone map is open.

how are you supposed to select a position from within the zone map, when you cannot REACH the zone map? The lowest down I can go is the sector map.

Press . [fullstop] for the zone map or just scroll to highest detail using the mouse wheel when with the mouse pointer in the sector map.
