Radar showing only top down 2D view - resolved.

I had been playing a modded Beta 4 game but decided to start a new game (3.61) with no mods.

I've tried everything to resolve this from pressing Shift-R toggle, turning the radar off and on via the graphic settings to a complete reinstall of the game but the only radar I get is a 2D top down view with no grid.

I reloaded my old Beta 4 game and found the problem had appeared there too.

Can someone tell me if I'm missing something? I'll upload a game save file if needed.

Use 'Shift-M' to change radar display mode.

Look into your options menu -> controls. There are some options for the radar that you can use and rebind, if you don't like the standard key bindings.
