I want to take over the Universe!

I'm kind of just now learning the game and I was wondering, in later stages is it possible to 'control' sectors. Like can I take over Home Of Light and have every station in the sector belong to me?

If not, is there a mod that will let me do that?

Note that it's mostly a hack, the game is hardcoded to respawn stations/ships of the race owning the sector but the script works by killing them automatically...

Late to the game here, but you can fix a lot of those types of issues by running through the Job.txt file and setting owner's sector spawn flag to true. That way after a sector is taken over the ship will not spawn.

The only issue left is stopping "GOD" from re-spawning docks and shipyards...
