X rebirth and Windows 10
Hello,
So I jumped out and updated my windows 7 to windows 10.
Nasty surprise : instead of 10sec of loading, I have now to wait 1 minute for my game to launch.
Loading a save takes about the same time as before.
Taking a save needs 2x more time than before...
About performances in game, everything remain the same.
When I exit the game to desktop, the game crash and don't want to close. Sometimes I even have hard time to kill the process with ctrl alt suppr.
Same for you dudes ? Have you updated to windows 10 and tried the game ?

Moving to Tech Sp where you may want to post your current Win10 DxDiag.
There has been mention in Off Topic of Win10 loading the wrong drivers for some hybrid apu laptops and also for some AMD graphics cards, but we don't know yet what hardware you have.
Have you verified the gamefiles cache recently in case something in the files did not survive the OS update?

his problem obviously is not about patch, but the osezra-r wrote:unless you are in 3.60, this is a known issue with saves, independent of the OS. It takes longer over time.
the same game version, behaved differently on new os
frankly, upgrading to new os is a use-at-ur-at-risk, especially it is still at it's early release stage.
let this be a lesson.
unless a safe-downgrade/undo is provided by m$, i highly recommend it
good luck
I have noticed saves are taking more and more space over time.ezra-r wrote:unless you are in 3.60, this is a known issue with saves, independent of the OS. It takes longer over time.
This was actually an update issue (windows 7 to windows 10).
Some others games crashed on exit too, taking me like 1 minute to manage to killl the application.
Bored, I did a full wipe and installed a fresh version of windows 10 from scratch.
All is OK now ! No more long time loading, no more crash on exit.
I always have known that updating an OS often causes problems, I decided to have trust in windows 10 update (seeing how it is worldwide deployed) but I was wrong
