[RESOURCE] Complete Keyboard Command / Hotkey List in Copy / Paste form.
.
Hi Folks. I play in a home cockpit with literally hundreds of buttons to assign macros and hotkeys to. After not finding one when searching, I've been told that there is no fully complete list of all the key commands, hotkeys, key sequences, etc. for the game. They are all scattered throughout the different manuals, DLC literature, in game settings pages, sidebar menus, etc.
To me, such a list is the first most obvious thing needed and I can't imagine how one does not exist, so below is what I have assembled so far in complete list form in case anyone else feels the same and could use it.
Let me know if any mistakes, updates, additions, etc. and I'll correct. Thanks!
EDIT: I was asked by a DEV about the setup I referenced above that made this necessary, so here is the link

regarding Drone Abilities:
this menu is not consistent - i think it fills up based on the order you buy the first drone of each type, or maybe there is a fixed order and non-available ones are skipped.. so anyway: there is no fixed slot for each type, it depends on your loadout.

Ahh thanks; makes sense. List updated.
Sparky Sparkycorp wrote: I'm not sure that is accurate. When a ship or surface element is selected and "F" is pressed, a contextual menu with combat options pops up but numbers don't seem to make selections. Seems to be control-only.
Either way, great idea for a thread - thanks!
Sure, and thanks for the info. Seems strange it would be mouse / control-only with no number option when most everything else has a number option. If so, maybe it will be fixed in a future patch.

This has been changed with one of the patches. The current key for leaving Local Highways is 'Backspace'Ameer Nuub wrote:Z= Leave local highway

Ah, ok; so have they made some other key "set throttle to 0" or is backspace still "set throttle to 0" when in normal space, but becomes "leave highway" when in a Local Highway? I'm guessing the latter.

Awesome... Hmm... I'm seeing both "0" (zero) and "O" (the letter) on the internet. Is it "zero" or the letter?linolafett wrote:
I also cant see "o -> toggle loot magnet"
I am doing all this on breaks at my job and can't test these things for myself. I also can't test yet because I prefer not to play the game until I am finished with the list and have my cockpit fully programmed (the point of this IS an entertainment experience after all)...

The Art of War and misleading titles are behind the name... Also when one is killed in a first person shooter, it reads "you were killed by Ameer Nuub". Snarky...Sparky Sparkycorp wrote:At this rate, you will progress from being a mere nuub to expert in days

That is a nice reference list, good work Ameer. I might also have another entry for the list.
When you are docked to a station Enter > 7 > 1 switches to "Call Remotely" which allows you to contact crew members onboard the Skunk. There is also one additional keyboard shortcut onboard a station which is Enter > 7 > 2 "Return to Cockpit" which actually does what the name suggests

Thanks much.YorrickVander wrote:Nice setup Ameer
Ok great... Enter > 7 > 1 was already on the list but my source said it was "visit crew quarters" which seems much different than "calling remotely". I'm guessing maybe this was something changed in one of the patches. I added them to the list, thanks.blackmilan wrote:That is a nice reference list, good work Ameer.
