Question about Drones, Capital Ships turrets and Fighters

Hey all,

I am new to this game, and despite having some frustrating moments, I love it so far.

I have some questions about the combat behaviour of some units in R:X:

1-When fighters attack capital ships/Stations, I noticed that they don't prioritize turrets (and other targetable elements). Is that intended? Or is it fixed in a mod?

2-When drones attack capital ships, they just attack the hull without focusing the turrets (which should be their job), is it a bug? Or they are intended as such?

3-When capital ships attack stations, they just attack the hull (in my game) are their turrets supposed to target the station's turrets/shield? Or is it a bug?

3.50 has improved many things, but havent played much of it yet as i was thinking of starting a new game.
There is a mod called better turrets that prioritizes surface elements.
I suggest you use it and save yourself the frustration.

I played vanilla till i finished the plot. After that, i started modding and realized i could have made my life a lot easier with some mods that are simple and save game friendly.

Fighters arn't proritizing turrets anymore?!? :o
