[MOD] Show Me Your Faction Please
Done By a small request. This mod adds faction icons to the comms list so you can see whose licenses you are about to buy. Available from SteamWorkshop

It occurred to me that if it was possible and of interest, an additional column listing the name of the NPC's station (or "???" as appropriate) could be handy.
I got the idea while using the TAF! mod but maybe there are other uses. If not, that alone is probably not worth the effort involved.

Until 3.1, your mod worked as a charm. (thanks a lot by the way, it really adds to immersion)
But unfortunately, since the 3.2 update, a bug has appeared.
Description
I can no longer remotely communicate with ship traders.
Steps I reproduced
- only this mod is active
- new game start as trader (omicron, devoid clime, keen chant)
- fly to zone eternal dawn
Choice a) open remote communication with capital ship trader (F1, 5, 6, 1)
Consequence the game becomes partially unresponsive.
Log from uidata.xml
Choice b) open remote communication with a small ship trader (F1,5,6,2)
Consequence the panel opens, but the selected line is the first
Choice c) open a remote communication with any other trader
Consequence the behaviour is good, as before.[/b]

X Rebirth 3.20 + Capital ship bridge + Enhanced money transfer + Mission Computer + Safe trading + Show balance + Show me your faction + Show skills + trying to help repair logistics
Thanks for the info, also nice report, makes the modders life easier although only thing I now did to update was the same procedure as every time with this mod... decompile the original script and run a diff to my version. everything that is different and is not part of my modification of the original menu is changed to the new version.

i think this mod is indispensable, so i quickly updated it to be compatible with XR 4.3. Should work with latest XRVR as well.

Note: i placed it in a separate directory so as to leave the original mod folder undisturbed. You should be able to just extract the download into your extensions folder and deactivate the original mod using the in-game Extensions menu.
