Trying to lessen the pain of ordering dozen ships to attack all bad guys in a sector via macros but turns out they dont work... Why? Does windowd mode affect it?

Redo the macros in smaller or simpler steps to see where the macro falls over in any more complex series of keypresses. Use of pauses between significant macro steps also helps sometimes.

If even the simplest macro does not work then there *could* be recorded macro keyboard/button code recognition issues with the game UI.

One thing that will definitely kill most macro usage is any other input being present or appearing (controller/joystick/stuck button/intermittent control) while the macro keypresses are being recorded or on playback. Also some combined keypresses (eg Ctrl/ Shift/ Alt/ etc) may be combination timing and release order critical while recording and can differ on playback.

(I use a Logitech G110 programmable keyboard myself.)

Macro-keys do NOTHING. Programming a single press there wont do anything.

I must admit the Corsair macro funtion is waaay behind Logitech, but the keyboard itself is pure awasome.

So you must have a keyboard macro code recognition issue with the game interface. You could see using an input/output monitoring tool whether the code sent from the macro playback is 'pure' or whether it is being corrupted by a spurious or idle state signal from the keyboard or something else.

I don't know if your keyboard driver has (macro) output format options available ... (duration, repeat, next key delay, etc)

Hi
I use macros for most functions with my Thrustmaster Hotas. I had to program 350ms delays between each step in the macros for them to work with the new side menu & upto 1000ms delays for the old menu's
