[Bug] Controls Frozen after using Comm option from Zone screen (v1.13)

Hi all,

I started my current game in v1.12 - it played ok, the known glitches aside, and rarely crashed. I could usually get past the no detail monitor bug ok.

Now, I didn't play yesterday, so in that time the game has updated to v1.13 and it did another little update earlier today - though it remains v1.13.

I just loaded my game - it's very early on & I'd just crewed the Rahanas and was off to buy my first drone with the Rahanas auto-following me, though NOT in my Squad yet.

The first thing I did upon load was to ask the Rahanas to join my squad. Oddly, I got no audio dialogue, but otherwise I navigated through the menus just fine. However, upon exiting the dialogue - having just clicked "Join my Squad" - ALL my controls are frozen. The game is running, however no keyboard or joystick input is registered, other than "ESC" to bring up the menu.

I've tried the suggested fix of turning off AA (2x) then re-enabling it - but I'm still locked. It's basically like I have a menu open, but no menu is actually open, like some others have reported.

This ONLY happens if I comm my Rahanas from the Zone list directly. If I double click the green triangle on the edge of my screen (the ship is behind me) I get the audio dialogue and all is well.

Note: I run ONE mod on this save, and that's the "Remove Detail Monitor Animation" mod.

So, not a show stopper by any means, but there's something different about using the comm option from the Zone screen vs. targeting the ship directly - shame, as it's a convinient way to contact ships...the only way if they're not close by.

Iv that this control freeze as well happen when using the Comm option. Its happened about 4 times so far, no mods installed either. Luckily I have saves before this happened in all situations so I didn't even think I just went back to the saves from 5mins before.

It happens consistantly for me now, if I comm via the Zone menu I cannot continue playing. It's avoidable of course, so I can ignore it for now.

Ok, I need to add that this is quite badly broken.

I can only command my ships by flying up to them and targeting them manually, any sort of remote command, either from the Zone screen or from the Info screen and clicking "CO" = controls permanently locked out.

I am very early game in this save, and have only just been given the first of the "buy drone" missions. I was taking some time out to explore, when I noticed this bug.

Not sure what's caused this, but will try to provide more information.

Update: Looks like this was caused by the "Remove Detailmonitor Animation" mod here and the author has recently updated it. Sorry for the false alarm...my mistake!
