First of all I want to say that I use X-Tended Terran Conflict mod.

I plugged in the Normandy xsp file in and started the game, then via cheat commnd I spawned the ship, and I gazed into it, as it has :

BUILT IN:
Multiple shields ( Including 2 GJ -.- )
Many weapons ( some way overpowered for this ship to have)

My question is - how can I modify it so it has balanced armament and shielding?
The glory of the gods
Is put out
Like a reed torch
In the water
The roof of the house of Amun is fallen
Even the gods must die

uninstall the 2gj shields and put in what you would call balanced, all weapons are there for options,

as for it not working in Ap i have no idea it works fine for me

I don't know how to modify files to do that. You can't just un-install Built-in components, they're fixed. It appears to me with some of the ships that I add to the game though, I think I'll need to dig around this...

Don't You think I did? I used Remove Ware command multiple times, and yet my Normandy STILL has 2 GJ shields on and multiple weapons that do not suit its class.

how do i use this with AP 2.0 without using PM (it's well broken when importing ships....any ships for that matter)

i install the mod but when i play commander shpeard it shows a buster ship not the normandy?

This will not work with AP yet. I have not ported any of my mods apart from BSG over to the new game. If I get a chance I will at the weekend only a quick job.

Hey Tenk,

Are you planning on making a full mass effect TC? I currently meshing some mass effect ships in anticipation of rebirth. Maybe you would like to organize a group to complete this mod/tc?

I don't know a thing about modding and just downloaded both of the files, followed the instructions inside. It did not work either way. Dont' know if it changes anything but my copy of the game was downloaded thru steam. Help please!

First of all, sorry for digging out such a "old" thread, but since my question is related to this (GREAT) mod I didn't want to create a new topic :)

My problem is that it seems like some textures are missing :(
The color etc. is fine, but there's no "Normandy" / "SR1" writing on the ship...

I tried to install it manually and with X3Plugin manager,but I always end up with the same result...

PS: sorry if some sentences are weird, I'm German^^

I don't know if anyone still monitors this thread, but can this ship be packaged as an .xsp file? I have tried both methods of install to no avail. There is a version of the Normandy in .xsp format in the library but it doesn't support commonwealth weapons, and I couldn't figure out how to get X3 Editor 2 to do anything I wanted it to do. Can anyone help, I would really love to add this ship to my universe>
