This script is compatible with any version of X3 Terran Conflict and X3 Albion Prelude and it should be compatible with any other script or mod.
The Automatic Rank Variation Checker is a script originally designed (as from the name) to control any change in reputation, including military and commercial one.
After various updates, the possibility to check the variation of credits and of the number of player ships, stations and minor properties (fighter drones, laser towers, satellites and mines) has been added. Please note that while the script divides ships into classes, it doesn't the same for stations and minor properties, ie the script doesn't distinguish between normal and advanced satellites, between a Fighter Drone MKII and a Keris or between a Ore Mine and a Solar Power Plant. I made this choice in order to weighing the script down.
Once installed, start the ARVC using the hotkey previously assigned to it.
A window will appear asking you to enter the time interval in seconds. In fact, the script checks at regular intervals for any variations of reputation or of the number of player properties and, if present, it will write them in the logbook and/or in an external log file, depending on what you specify. If the time interval is set to 0, the script will check approximately every 10 ms, to avoid that the game freezes.
When you set the time interval, the script will ask you if you want to check the changes in the number of your fighter drones and static properties (ie stations, satellites, mines and laser towers). If you select "Yes", the script will also monitor this kind of properties.
Finally, the script will ask you separately if you want it to write these changes in the logbook and if you want it to also create a log file. If you choose to create a log file, it will be created in the C:\Users\<user_name>\Documents\Egosoft\X3TC folder (if you have Windows 7 and use X3TC, otherwise the path may be different) with the name "log09304.txt".
When you've done and the script starts, you'll be regularly informed of any changes in your properties and reputations.
To disable the script, use the same hotkey you used to enable AVRC.
WARNING: Turning off the script does NOT uninstall it, but simply means that it will not send you messages or write to the log file until you reactivate it with the usual hotkey.
