I think that Iifrit Tambuur-san is kidnapped by Egosoft special forces (5 stars all skills) and is held at Ego HQ untill he hands over all the top secret data he aquired during the interview OR Egosoft asked him to wait with the release so that they can prepare a whole bunch of screenshots and movies to compliment the interview... I've sussed it out!.. The blanked out persons face in the photo is none other than David Braben, of Frontier Elite fame! They've all realised that a partnership in the making of X Rebirth is the only way to go. Actually x-rebith (sic) does not exist (otherwise known as vaporware), but X-Rebirth is being worked on!!!!

As for conspiracy theories (in a blatent attempt to head off the post split), I reckon the person with the distorted face in the photo was actually the X Rebirth co-pilot but due to the NDA Iifrit was forced to airbrush them out.
