Okay, so I have chosen a few mods to install to improve the game how I would like but I am still trying to decide between these two/three:
Race/Khaak Invasions
Frontier Wars
I'm after something to add a bit more life to the game whilst still keeping consistent with the vanilla game world. The simpler and less buggy the better.

Is there a script that works like those add satellites scripts, but instead of adding only one satellite to each sector it adds 8+gates(+TL) like that in MARS or automated satellite network?

I don't know what you mean by "(+TL)", but Galaxy Explorers will add multiple satellites to fully cover sectors. |
I think galaxy explorers can only add satellites by sending ships into the sector?
What I want is something like those add satellite cheats, press a button and all done.
Also TL means trade lanes. With MARS when deploying satellites trade lanes can be lit as well.

Any mods that will allow me to search for a specific ship making use of my satellite network? Something that works like one of the universal best buy/sells scripts but for ships out putting around. I'd like to be able to find a specific ship type to board without having to click through a 100+ sectors.

Try Scorp's map
It comes with bonus scripts that will do just what you need.

already did a google and forum search but can't find anything

hephaistos station building service.... you can order a bunch of stations to be built. the stations are bit more expensive, but it's worth it as they're all quite neatly positioned.

I have installed it already and all it does is just show some useless text at the bottom of the screen, it doesn't actually save the message so I can't read it when I return from afking.
