Didn't think he wanted to board the TMs for money, but to train his marines. (also, sometimes the TMs 'forget' to launch their fighters, and you get to cap them with it  ). TMs only have 1 deck (iirc), so are far easier to board and train, without taking losses.
True though that the M6s would have a greater reward for boarding
Also looking forward to the next chapter!

they have 2... i think... i know its more then one and less then a corvette...
i just figured they were to sell because its inferior argon tech... and what self respecting Holy Paranid Warrior would have a Zephyrs in his mighty fleet?

True, the Holy one should not have any Argon tech
Always Thought Corvettes had 2 decks, frigates 4 and M1/M2 5 decks.
Might be that frigates have 3, not 2. I dunno still easier to train on than Corvettes.

TM is 2, M6 is 3. then 4 for M7/M/C (i think TLs fit here too) and iirc 5 for M1/M2s
every time the ships get bigger its one deck added...
indeed easier to train on.... b-b-b-but what about the profitsssss?

Sorry about the long delay between updates - life has gotten in the way a bit of late. I hope to remedy that soon, but it seems some interesting new stories have popped up to keep people occupied.
