2.5.1 Update - 03/08/2012
X3: Albion Prelude has just been updated to version 2.5.1 bringing several improvements and fixes. Your Steam client should update as usual.
Changelog
New Features and Improvements:
- RRF missile volleys: RRF ships can launch missiles at several enemies at once
Fixes:
- Fixed cases where capital ships could not dock or could not be bought at shipyards
- Fixed freeze caused by the manual trade command
- Fixed cases of no reward being given at the end of the Terran plot
- Text corrections in French and Italian
We are pleased to announce that X3: Albion Prelude 2.5 is now available! The latest update includes a new Terran plot and a number of bugfixes.
While defending the Terran territory against continuous attacks, the USC high command has been prepairing a secret mission to weaken the war efforts of the Commonwealth races for quite a while. Now the time to start "Operation Loose Ends" has come.
In a series of covert operation missions the player will be sent deep behind enemy lines to help the Terran Federation getting the better of the war again. Rewarded with new technologies the player will be able to change the universe even more than before.
As well as adding a new plot, the latest development also eradicated some annoying bugs. Amongst others, the ATF rank is linked to the Terran rank now, war ships give player escorts more time to leave the war sectors and war ships will no longer try to self-destruct, once they have been captured. As usual the complete changelog can be found in the documents folder of your X3 Terran Conflict addon directory.
X3: Albion Prelude 2.5 is available now for download over Steam. The Steam client will automatically update your game to the latest version, provided it has not been configured to prevent this.
As always we'd like to thank our loyal army of community members, testers and volunteer developers for their contribution to making this update the success we hope it will be. In particular we would like to thank Cadius for the Terran HQ.
To celebrate the release of version 2.5, the X-Games will be available on Steam with a 75% discount until the 26th July again. If you have not taken the chance to complete your collection, another one just waits for you now!

Cool. Just starting with X3:AP. Now I have to decide which side I will take... (Guess that playing the plots from both sides of the war is quite hard in a single game...??)

Interesting. My steam version resets to, do not automaticly update, even when I change to automaticly update............. Is this some sort of steam virus or setting I screwed up on? Same thing with TC, maybe it has something to do with steams new file format conversion thingy?

You may have to restart Steam for it to take effect. Let me install AP and see what it does.

Yeah it appears to have something to do with a new steam format. Probably not something your gonig to repeat wth a new install, at anyrate problem solved.

No, both Terran Starts can be used. That's Aldran Adventurer in addition to the USC Commander.

Is USC commander a seperate unlockable start from Terran commander in x3ap"thinking of the TC USC commander start here"? Does humble merchant or any of the other starts have access to all plots, argon and terran?

was kinda funny.. I was playing the game and it just crashed.. Then it updated and I played again and all was fine... Guess x3ap really wanted to update the game so it crashed. LOL. Lucky I saved like 5 seconds before that happened.
