It does not look like hotkey manager by itself can unregister hotkeys, so there seems to be nothing to fix there.
@Cycrow: do you have any ideas why my script to unregister all hotkeys didn't help to resolve the issue? I posted its code a couple of posts above.

are you limited to 10 in a new game as well ?
is it possible that theres some unregistering going on that your not aware of ?
u could try reversing the loop and going backwards, afterall, if you clear the last added hotkey each time, the problem doesn't arise.
althou that shouldn't really make any difference if ur removing them all

Definitely I wish to know where it might be though. The only place I found was that init.community.config.xml and I added a line to reset its global variable just in case.

I'll give it a try. I definitely removed all hotkeys - none showed up in the control configuration after running that script.

Nothing like this happened for me. I just had to run that script for removing hotkeys one more time to get the missing key back. You don't happen to run some mods changing x3story.obj?
