I got an idea! In the x-universe mission in TC and AP, instead of 1,000 credits let's change it to 1,000,000 credits since the x-universe mission of TC and AP which is very much like the free flight in the next TC and AP update! Thanks!

The x-universe mission is in both the TC and AP games. To get into the x-universe mission after the TC or AP finished loading, just click on new game, the list of missions appear, scroll down until you see custom game, click on custom game, then click on x-universe, after once the game starts, click on the person symbol on the upper left hand corner, the player (you) menu shows up, and click on my pilot status, it'll tell you how many credits you got when you start the game. When you start the x-universe mission you got only 1,000 credits, which is kind of low for when starting the x-universe mission. I hope this helps!

Every game "start" is just that - a start. The X-universe is the same place every time, no matter what "start" you pick. Same sectors, ships, races. There are some differences in every start, but at a certain point the game is the same. Every "X-universe" develops a little differently, stations get destroyed and built, but they play the same. It is up to you as the player to change the X-universe the way you want to. Pick your enemies, your friends, and your goals. You keep calling it a "mission", but there isn't any difference ever.

1000 credits is only the starting funds for a specific "game start". Other game starts give you much more to work with. For beginning players it is a difficult start, that is why there are more "easy" game starts to choose, such as the humble merchant which is often suggested.

Most players set goals (REMEMBER, it doesn't matter what start you choose, the game is always marginally the same.) that deal with TRADE, FIGHT, THINK, and BUILD motives, similar to the missions (this is the proper use of the word) given by the different factions and races in the game. Some set goals to make a trade fleet, supplying the economy and their own ships with all of the goods they need. Some make a fighting fleet, to dominate the sectors and races that they want. Some build giant complexes of hundreds of factories to produce much needed resources and weaponry. Some simply fly around in a single ship and defeat enemies like an arcade game. Many combine these different aspects to flesh out their "X-universe" exactly the way they want to.

The cheat package is a powerful tool that can skew the way one plays and looks at the game. No matter what game start (REMEMBER, all game starts end up the same way, the same universe) the cheat package can do almost anything; be careful about what you do with it. If you really feel you need extra credits in the beginning of the game, then by all means if it makes it more fun for you, give yourself more credits. But I suggest just figuring out how to make money; it is far more satisfying in the long run than just rewarding yourself for instant gratification.
