You might think I'm nuts but my new hobby is learning physics Smile

I'd been watching physics lectures on youtube, and rewatched the Cosmos box set a few times, and got very enthused by it. But my math wasn't up to the job so I've started out working through a textbook (Engineering Mathematics, Stroud) (aim to complete & understand every single question in it), then after that I plan to start reading up on various physics topics. Could potentially branch off into other sciences eventually, its got limitless scope. Longterm project of course!

It feels a lot more rewarding than killing stuff on PC ever did!

that is not "nuts" that is rather awesome Thumb up, you see Steam is beneficial to you, as instead of killing time playing, you are improving your knowledge of the world Razz Razz Laughing

True. I'm currently studying myself(IT related though), but I do like physics. I've been kind of interested in getting to know more about quantum entanglement and quantum computing specifically.

Limited time though...one literally can't do everything at once.

I quit working in IT and got a physics degree. Now I'm looking for work, but not in either of those fields.

That's a lot of hopping around. Are you planning on studying something else? Or just bored with everything? Laughing

Tired of IT. Enjoy the physics but not really as a career, more an interest. Strangely enough, I actually want to drive freight trains.
