Beta 2.0 should be ready for closed testing for X-Timelines relatively soon, but we still have a few kinks to work out. Can't put a date on it but we hope to get the v1.0 final release out before Rebirth.

XTC v2.0 should be out soon, though it really is a different mod style to ours.

NHTC? Not heard of that mod.

Sounds very promising. I have watched the work you guys have done and it all seems to be moving smoothly.

As an XRM and XTC player, they r different universes and actually compliment each other and simply dont compete.

XRM base uses the original XVerse with more sectors and game play while XTC is the frontier, a darker more fertile game type.

I like the look of this as they use XRM base maps according to what i can read.

The only question i have is this .... will it be Cockpit friendly ??

And no, before someone comments, not all mods are cockpit friendly EVEN with adding the fake patch style.

I have almost every mod made for TC and a large majority are buggy or incomplete or simply useless for my play style... however i also only use cockpits.

Very much looking forward to playing this mod Smile

It wont be apon release, as the TShips file has been litterly re-written (all entrys erased, and started anew)

We will add support for PSCO1's cockpit mod as fast as possible after release however.

Well lucky for you I'll be doing a cockpit addon for this mod once all the ships reach tested and feature complete. It'll make the X-TL compatible with the available cockpit mods and I'll update it as they get updated (with their permission of course Wink ).

However initially there won't be any cockpits for testing reasons.

..... waiting patiently.... waiting patiently.... for this awesome mod... awesome mod... can't wait to have real epic battles.... and a workable economy!!!<---- most important... I want to feel challenged to scrounge for my money BUT in a realistic economy....

meanwhile... stuck with IR 15.29 in X3TC... sigh....

A Preview of the X-TL Reworked Economy(internal pre-alpha)



The Actual factory is a "Small Component" Factory, we havent named the components yet Very Happy

Prices are currently incorrect, Correct values (as they currently stand) are
SCom_1 (Small Component 1 (Supreme Commander 1? lol) ): 60cr
Ele_Lazium (Element Lazium): 2cr
Min_Ormite (Mineral Ormite): 2cr

Factory Stats:
Proffit Per Hour (With current values): 518k cr
Cost Per Cycle: 64k cr
Credits Per Cycle: 194k cr
Proffit Per Cycle: 129k cr
Station Build Cost: 7.7M cr

This is the most basic factory you can build, so there are better trading opotunitys if you have enough credits to put into them.

We've rewritten the econamy completly, no more anoying relval system, complete control over price, resources, products, cycle time, cycle count.

I have a question about this mod.
looking at the graph and from the exploitation of ores until the final product ... whether ships or weapons .... we will be able to create our own items?? or this pick only serves as an example!?

Im not sure i understand what your asking;

The player can still build stations, if thats what your asking?

Shilds, Weapons, Missiles: Yes
Ships: Mabye, this hasent been decided on yet

The fact you can get AP in physical form now kinda makes the whole argument moot, and no we aren't telling them to get gonad protection.

Good news is we have two modellers who started to work with us to realise the Zenith and a few other designs. As they become available I'm adding them to the ship roster. This is obviously slowing things down a bit as we have basically not had some good modellers during the project until now...
