Hi all,

Since I know many people want or are waiting for their favorite mods to be updated for Albion, I decided to play around and try a mess of them to see which ones work as is or with minimal issues. Below is the list I have gone through so far.. Please feel free to update anything you have tried that I have not.. Perhaps this will help for those wanting to use mods:

I also have installed Improved Races (vR15.29) and Addon v1.9) however I am still testing this out so not specifically on the list yet.

Also testing Capture Stations, Auctions, Medusa, Treasure Hunt and XXL Factories and OWP's.

If anyone has any others they are using problem free, add to the list!

Wow nice job bro! As someone who's new to X games and only started playing AP so far, i've been meaning to gather info as to which script/mods worked with AP. Hopefully this list gets expanded!

No Prob... Also, I would recommend you get the first 5 X series titles as well... Twice I have played from X Beyond, Xtension,X2 The Threat, X3 Reunion, X3 Terran Conflict and now, of course, Albion. You can then follow the entire story line from start to whenever! Each title is also a unique and a different playing experience both in the game and the interface and features.

Add to that the fact that all version from X2 The Threat to now all have numerous mods available as well to really enhance the game... plus you can write your own with the built in coding and scripting engine. The easiest way to buy a copy of the Superbox edition. It is only available digital right now but many of us are hoping Egosoft will produce another run of the hardcopy edition as well for those of us who missed out the first time.

Actually I did just that, I bought the superbox during the steam sale and have access to all the X-games. I might play the older ones once I get the hang of AP though, thanks anyway and keep it up.

Improved races, Mobile ship repairs Universal Best B/S were already in my list. I found 500k comm range not to be working. At least it doesn't work for me.

There's a list of mods that are incompatible with XRM on the 1st XRM page. I think the majority of what you listed is compatible going by the list.

The 500km comm range definitely DOES work with AP. I couldn't live without it :D

[MOD][AP] ZMissionTweak - Tweak Mission Time-Limits/Rewards

It might be worth your while searching for the [AP] tag in the forums or variants thereof ([AP/TC], etc.) to see which mods/scripts have been declared as AP-compatible by their creators.

[ALP] Jumpgate Construction Technology 1.3 Redux Seems to be working fine.


The custom stations that sells the required items work, and the deployment of new gates works as in TC :)
