Post by konrad13x » Sat, 7. Jan 12, 01:56

"X3AP Hangar" version 0.6a

Microsoft Excel based application which allows user to:
- see detailed informations about ships, weapon, missiles and shields,
- switch view between excel worksheet (table format, detailed informations) and application GUI (short info),
- compare up to 5 ships side by side (GUI),
- calculate ship's shields recharge time (GUI)'
- IMPORT function - allows to import stats from AP & TC, vanilla & mods (for now not tested on mods, so it is DISABLED).

Requirements: Microsoft Excel 2003 (or later) with enabled (temporary or permanently) macros.
"Compare" and "Import" buttons can be found in the top screen toolbar in "Add-ins" section (Excel 2007 onwards).

Just tried to open this on my XP machine but get "Compressed (zipped) folder is invalid or corrupt" message. Is it OK?

I've just downloaded the file and it's working fine. My suggestion is try to re-download program.

Many thanks for the response. I've just tried again - same error. I'll try from a different machine tomorrow.

I've tried it on PC and laptop with Vista x64 and x32 - both fine.

There is a new version as well, which hopefully will work better for you.

Same thing here....

Winrar says "corrupt file" when using my PC (windows XP.)

The funny thing is, I then tried dowloading it from an adroid device... (a tablet) and it works fine there.. Of course with the limitations that OS has for complex excel sheet reading... But file opens just fine.

I can't recreate your error.
Anyway, I've just re-packed file using 7z instead of winrar.

Hi, same issue as we got with the 0.3a. Corrupted archive :)

Can you apply the same process you did for reposting the 0.3a few weeks ago ;)

I'not sure what's going on as I've successfully opened archive on three different computers (Vista,7).

I packed 0.4a file using my overclocked gaming ring - maybe that's part of the problem.

Just repacked archive using laptop.

Packed file again using 7z extension this time - maybe that will help.

I'm using Excel 2007 with macros enabled and I can't figure out how to enable the ship comparison function, and any googling for information just leads back to this topic.
