aaah...
when i select M2, the aamon prototype is listed.
with m1 selected, the Xperimental shuttle is listed.
Just saying it forward: I give everyone 2 posts to make good, in context posts(proper english, as always, is optional). After that I'm ignoring what you have to say in that thread that's directed to what we previously were talking about.

Updates to X3AP: Ships stats:

- Correct stats on the Aamon prototype,
- Correct stats and picture added for the Xperimental shuttle,
- Moved 19 'ships' into Shared race list,
- Mobile Mining Base-Ship (added),

Hopefully X3AP ships are done but if you noticed a problem just post. This should allow me to work on the X3AP maps now... although im going actually play X3AP for a bit now :)

for the Phantom, the available weapons for main are incorrect and should be listed as PRG and FBL; the turrets aren't missile turrets but mount the same weaponry.

Minor niggle, the Boreas is OTAS, not Argon :D

Your quite correct, the flag 'DEFAULT' in types/tships confused me before. Now I see its means use the front laser mask. I have now updated all new X3AP ships with the correct masks - so now all the ships should be correct.

Well technically there isnt an OTAS race in the types files, so I had to select an race, so like the game I used argon.

Wandering around the map I was looking at the newly colonised Paranid sectors (7,15 & 7,16) but on the way back it jumped to Vestibule of Creation?
Also you have a link from Olmancketslats Treaty to Ceo's Sprite.

It might be interesting if you can show jump beacons.

Hey Ripskar,

thanks for pointing out those errors, they have now been fixed. The Bala Gjs Joy to Ceo Spirt error was in my X3, X3TC and X3AP maps. It shouldnt be a problem adding jump-beacons to the X3AP maps. Once I add them, you will be able to do a search for them by using the search function.

Hopefully now the ships pages are complete (ill remove the WIP tag off the ship section in a few days)... so I can work on getting the X3AP maps better (making them more X3AP than X3TC). The maps are in first draft, whilst the ship pages are like in 3rd or 4th draft. I guess I could of waited before making the data publicly available, however I felt even its current state it could be useful. Dock information is kind-of linked to both ships and the sector maps. So making the maps 'hidden' is harder work for me.

Please bare in mind, I am just one person - everything will be done but will take me time to finish. The ships and sector maps are probably the biggest things to do, due to the amount of content in them. I really hope egosoft doesnt go around changing them too much.

Universe/Sector map update:
I have finally finished the 2nd work through of the Universe/sector maps. It took much longer than I though it would, as more sectors have been deleted/moved or changed than I first thought. I also screwed up my script and didnt export the whole galaxy correctly :)

So anyway, my X3AP maps should be here:

if you go to the loadout page for a ship, the names of the weapons are links to a page you've probably not copied across from the TC version of the site - so instead you get a "page not found":

You're still missing the Unknown Sector 09,07 east from Legend's Home.
The North Gate from Xenon Sector leads to Xenon Core 023, the South Gate leads to another missing Unknown Sector.
Do you miss dangerous pirates?

Both sectors have been added and the map has been updated. I have also fixed a duplicated entry too.

ps. one quick question, are jump-beacons random? just dont know if to export that information or not.

Thynn's Abyss shows a Link to Cathedral of Xaar.
Ocean of Fantasy shows a link to Ceo's Wellspring.
Missing Link; Wastelands to Midnight Star.
Queen' Retribution links messed up.
Third Redemption missing east link.
Dukes Domain East and West links switched.

the very bottom right unknown system (MY SECTOR! [in TC anyway]) is a boron border sector called Distant Clouds

I think it only has a trade station and a SPP in there...
The description is kinda funny, mentioning that there was a mineral survey done and nothing of value was found. *backs away slowly with a TL full of Niv*

Looks like jump beacons are random. I have looked for a few you posted and couldnt see them there. However I found ones in other sectors/positions.

note: Atm my site(s) are taking a bit of hammering, so I have moved the X2/X3/TC/AP maps to some 'dumb' space provided by my ISP. For anyone interested (yay! my highest activity for a x-game):

The X3/TC sites pulling in 600-800 (each) as well. Hopefully this will take some pressure off my bandwidth usage and it shouldnt look any different to you. The activity has increased during the past week or two (which is understandable), making the maps take around 0.5gb worth of bandwidth on their own. Maybe activity will lower in the next few weeks, but if it doesnt then moving the maps off site will give me more bandwidth for the site. If you get half way through a month, then you cant 'get back' the bandwidth used for the maps.

I also got to think what happens if activity increases? :o I think i could handle another 1,000 per day, then ill to look at upgrading my hosting plan.
