You just need to stick it in the main X3 directory, and rename both .dat and .cat files to the next number after the highest number you've got there - for eg you might have up to 11.cat, rename them to 12.cat and 12.dat.

Alternatively, you can put them in the X3/mod folder, and the mod can then be selected from X3's startup menu, where the graphics options etc. are.

I can't get this to work for some reason, I parked with my M6 in an empty sector, saved, exited, put the files in the mod folder, then loaded the game... but nothing is showing up...

Did you select it in the mod menu? Any other ship mods installed?

well it appears in the mod window along with my other mods, (PSO's cockpits, Missile Rebalance mod and MARS) Im not sure what you mean by ''select it'', am I supposed to do something specific?

You have to click on it so that its highlighted then click ok.

wait but if I have several mods, does that mean the others are not active? Do I have to click on all of them to make them work?

edit: I can make it work now. I think I didnt quite understand how the mod folder works. I transfered my mods to the main folder and renamed with the proper number. It sucks the mod folder works like that, makes things messy...

Yes if you use the mod folder you can only have one active at a time.

Sorry for idiot question but how can i instal this mod ? Sad
Just rename dat/cat to last dat/cat in X3 folder? if i have last 13, rename this files to 14 and start game and play?Very Happy
