My apologies for being a little quiet for the last few months; my gap year has just ended and I've started a new job, meaning less time to spend with you gentlemen (and the odd lady I've seen around) on these Forums. I'm still taking care of the walkthroughs, but since most of them are quiet anyway it's not immediately apparent!

I've read somewhere (cant find it now) that you can get some kind of Teladi capital during this plot but there doesn't appear to be any mention of it in the walkthough, was someone mistaken or have I got my wires crossed?

Presumably this is the indestructable TL you rescue the crew from at the end?

No, there's no TL available directly. But if you've got a couple of Marines sat around drinking tea and getting fat, and you happen across a casino ship.... :twisted:

once you've rescued the crewmembers, you can also board and capture the Albatross. Before and during the rescue, it's invulnerable and thus unboardable. Afterwards, it's fair game. I always bring along an M7M fully loaded for that mission.

Hey. (resurrecting this thread, since a mod did so before me, so I guess it's okay).

I'm having trouble at the very first step: after replacing the adv. satellite for the "troublemaker", I don't get the first hint. I should add, the "troublemaker" was red for me -- could that be the problem?

EDIT: nevermind, I'm an idiot. the hint is in the mission description :P

This refers to executing Clue 4.
The important part of the information is missing here: you need to be IS while the Kestrel is exploring. I had it run the mapping on several distances from the ecliptic (while I was OOS) and it didn't find a single beacon. Then I entered the sector and reran the same mappings with the Kestrel and beacons started popping up.

EDIT: Oh, now that I think about it, you probably supposed that we should be personally flying the Kestrel while it's exploring. Well, I didn't get it from your text. Might be a good idea to point this out explicitly in the guide.

I was surprised to find that you can (as of 3.2?) be out of sector for this and the scan asteroid missions. I was about to jump into the sector when I saw a nav beacon so set 5 disco raiders to scan the sector and all beacons were revealed, similar thing happened with the second asteroid scanning mission ... decided to scan all the roids so I'd know which was was new and got the message saying it had detected it! jumped in and mission guidance pointed it out to me.

I can't find the Object I need to complete Hint#7
I'm in Herron's Nebula, used the Coordinates at the end and front of the Mission briefing and not a Sausage?

Are you sure you're at 0,50,0 and not 50,0,0 or 0,0,50? I've found myself looking in the wrong place on several occasions...

Hmm, Never saw those before I was trying the Coordinates on the list with 7, 7, 25, -25, etc.

Terrible with Coordinates.. More of a follow the direction of the Sun kind of Explorer :lol:
That's most likely what i'm doing wrong, i'll give it a try.

UPDATE, I Founds it!

Trying to find the Ship now in Xenon Sector 101, cleared the place out of Xenon, can't find the Shipwreck.
