Nice idea, though if the Terran Plot is markec complete how can the other stuff be unlocked with the ATF start or is it already unlocked for that start and the Terran plot completion is needed for other starts?

Hi This mod does not seem to install on a 3.1 version of the game. I have tried both methods and it has not installed.

Any suggestions anyone?

Patch 3.1 adds cat/dat pair 13 to the vanilla Egosoft X3TC program folder. Renumber the cat/dat pair in this mod and in any other false patches you are using to start consecutively from 14 onwards.
A dog has a master; a cat has domestic staff.

Thanks, but i had renamed the files to "14" but it still did not install.

I am surprised by this as it is a clean install.

Check that your renamed files are actually 14.cat and 14.dat, and not being saved by your OS as 14.cat.txt and 14.dat.txt (or even 14.cat.cat etc!) if it is suppressing showing extensions and doesn't recognise the format.

If you use the other method of putting the originally named files into the mod folder, you are finding and selecting the mod in the game launch splash screen are you?

Hi Thanks for the reply,

I can confirm that it is not the wrong extensions. I use 14 and when I start X3:TC I dont have the new start options.

Given that the installation is so simple and it is just not working I am thinking that there maybe corruption within the files themselves

Here are the MD5Check sums for the files.

6ae566c7c1e332b101d29b17cfdfda8c ATF Gamestart and Shipyard 1.0.cat
eaaf5b6a484ee26b3c3ba9b4397c2fa7 ATF Gamestart and Shipyard 1.0.dat

Just to confirm these were renamed to 14.cat and 14.dat

i am unable to find the \mods directory or the root directory within my program files, i play the game off of steam and this has mess with the installation of mods for other games and im wondering if that has anything to do with my issues here and if theres something special i have to do

By default the location of the game folder under steam is C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\x3 terran conflict. If you don't have a "mods"-folder, just create one.

Hi, I want to know what would happened if I install this with ATF Shipyard v6, could anyone tell me?

Hi again.
I have uninstall ATF Shipyard v6 and try this mod, but I can't find ATF gamestart in new game list.
I am sure that I sucess install this mod because I got an ATI shipyard in sector "The Moon".
Is there anyone can help me to find out what's wrong with it?

Or need I done some plot, mission, or reach some Rank to active this gamestart.

I have reinstall X3TC and just install this mod by fake path, and the same issue here.
Is there anyone can help?

This mod corrupted all my saves :cry:
And it still doesn't work...
