And what of the new enemies and a supernova. Perhaps the ancients suffered a supernova ( and thus perhaps related to the jump gates failing ) and are now out to conqour a Universe that is just beginning to recover.

Only way I see seta going bye bye is if there are accelerator gates, jump drives, and orbital stations. Unless you want to cross a 200 km sectors in a 67m/s trade ship just to drop off some ecells????? Thats 50 minutes of gameplay time just siting there...... ( or something like that )

in one of the images you can see a trail from a small ship.

in another image a large ship is very close to the atmosphere of a planet and you can see details on the surface.

All this reminds me of intel briefings back from my time in the military, when we'd have a briefing over some fuzzy photos taken from too far away and some officer who hasn't been out in the field since 1980's would make 100% certain deductions that the fly poop on the screen is in fact an IED...

I just have one question, I'm in awe of all the details in this game, I'm not sure if this question has been asked, or if the specs are forth coming, but, will I need a super computer to run it, or will the current specs for X3TC be more than enough?

It must be WAAAY into the future even for the X universe, to have stations or ships that big hanging in midair like that, the power needed would be enormous. And their NOT in orbit at least not all of them with a magnifier, some of the pics show roads, possibly airports and runways on the planet, so that's pretty dang close.

Well, not bad for today....

A handful of Low Res pics and something to look forward to this Saturday.

Having read every page of this thread, I find I have very few "wishes".
I expect Bernd and Company to "Blow our Doors off", with attitude.
These guys haven't just been sitting around eating pizza. They are talented Humans, learning and teaching each other for YEARS.

"We had lots of great ideas how we could achieve many of the things that the X Universe stands for but in a much more elegant and designed fashion."

With all they have learned in the last 10 years wound up in X:R, it makes me shiver to think what I will see. Even after years of this game, I am still Dazed and Amazed from time to time. I cannot wait to see what they consider "elegant and designed".

The lively discussions and speculation will keep me occupied, and I am just waiting to give them more money. Where is that pre-order button (credit card in hand) ?!!!!?

It is going to be a VERY LOOOOONNNNNGGGGG Summer......

The more I see the more I like, I just hope Egosoft can pull the whole show off.
I can't wait until we can get our hands in it, and break it in so many different ways Egosoft never thought of.
