<RefObj> = A complex with intermediates.
<Var/Number> = A TRUE or FALSE value or its representing number 1 or 0.
This enables the purchase of intermediates of the as <RefObj> selected complex, if <Var/Number> is TRUE, or disables it, if <Var/Number> is FALSE.
Example:
$target = get player tracking aim
$target -> set intermediates buyable to [TRUE]
return null
Assuming the current player $target is a complex with intermediates, this will enable the purchase of them.
