Hello, to keep a long story short, this does everything like the Zypherg's Custom wing manager 1.1 but you can also RENAME wings you've created. It essentially overwrites older files and uses the all the same resources. This does not require any other script.
What this script need/uses is:
 special command software MK1
it uses the ship command slot:
<t id="553">COMMAND_TYPE_SPECIAL_53</t>
download rar
Installation:
Just unrar to your X3tc root dir and roll the game.
Install from version 1.1:
Unrar to x3rc root dir and overwrite old files.
Unistall to version 1.1:
See link below for old version, all new files are overwriten.
If you find bugs or strange errors, please report them!
If you have suggestions or ideas on how to better this script, share your idea!

-fixed "blank wing" creation if esc hit while creating/renaming wing.

Seems to work so far, though I'm really early into this game so I've only gotten to test it on the player ship.

Which version is more up to date this one or the one on the original thread?
Although by reading I get the impressioin that this one is the most recent, the download on the other thread has a version 2 while this one is 1.21.

The version of the script on this thread is "Wing Manager Plus v1.21[13-12-2010]".
The other thread Custom wing manager aka. add-remove wings links to this thread as a newer version, however the version on that one is 2 while this one is 1.21.
Which one is the most recent?
Is it not the same script?
