This mod replaces my killerog ship mod that was posted in a rush for the superbox.

Background infomation

This mod allows you to a join a top secret Terran organisation and take part in covert and full out assaults on commonwealth targets or while defending Terran sectors and technology. As a reward not only will you improve your rank with the Terran people, but you will gain access to new ships and technology that KOG are developing.


Features:

--Mission Director missions
--New ships
--New station(s)
--New engine trails and effects (from my trail mod)
--New sector(s)
--New terran weapons

Sjips:

All KOG fighters come with a rear facing turret and can fit both Terran and commonwealth weapons.

General information

This mod is designed to work along side the standard X3 game and may have links to the new 3.0 plot. It will also be able to be merge with other popular mods such as the rebalance mod or Cadius mod to really improve the terran's.

Installing and running information ::

To install simply extract the file onto your desktop and copy the files (Mods, L ect) into the main X3:TC directory.

The first mission will pop up when you are a Warrior of Io, been playing for more than 5 mins and have found Freedoms Reach.

As this is a beta I recommend saving after each mission complete this way if you encounter any mission stopping bugs You will be able to load the fixed mission code from an earlier save.

Know problems ::
M2 dosnt have animated texture yet
Light terran weapon is not finished.

As this is a beta, models, weapons, spelling, colours ect can all be changed/not finished. I need people to play and destroy the mod so I can change and fix things. Once it becomes stable I can begin looking at merging this mod with the bigger mods already around.


Download latest version from :: www.killerog.co.uk

This mod is compatible with SRM and CMOD4. Check website for install details.

Big thanks to Stu Austin for helping me out a lot with the MD code, and early beta testing. :thumb_up:

Bit hard in the images, but there is a difference, M4 has 2 sets of wings M5 has 1, M4 is also longer and has bigger engines. But all 3 use the same base by design.

The ships look cool btw, but not realy Terran... Terran don't use black and bright red...

Anyway seems nice and I'm going to give this a try once it's released :) Also very cool that it will work together with CMOD and Cadius mod.

They do now :)

I think the ships posted look really cool, and I feel they have that authentic Terran vibe.

New M1 model is almost finished, so ill update the op with an image of that shortly.

Kickass M1, however those "Tokyo" style frontal antennas looks bad, either reduce their number or remove them completely.

Nice! I agree with mr.who the antennas look abit tacked on. Maybe switch to something simpler like in the concept art. Also, what does KOG stand for btw?

I have to agree with both of you as well. The antennas were left over from an early model. See what I can put there instead.

KOG just stands for KillerOG, very creative . :D

This M1 sorta reminds me evil version of Terran/ Tau'ri ships from Stargate Series :)

I just wish that M5, M4 and M3 wouldn't be so similar to each other.

I kind of wanted them to be similar, just makes sense to use one base for 3 designs. (in both game sense and modelling sense). But they are still quite different. Images are not the best way of showing the difference.

The red effect is something I just liked when I made the transcend ships so I thought ill carry on using it. Plus it adds a bit of colour to the uni.

Hopefully it wont be too much longer till I release an open beta. Want most of this done before I start uni again.

I know what you mean with similarity of fighters (well modular design is very practical and millitary), I just wish that there were some slight but noticable diffrence like diffrent tail or wings configuration. Something that is noticable from gun range of other fighter, not point blank/ near crash range :)
