Thanks, always good to hear that someone else like my HUDSorkvild wrote:Looks really nice. dark & red I like that. Good work
Btw. i left two bars for debugging in. A blue and a green one. I just cant figure out where they belong to.
There's so much garbage inside the files (not to mention the .cat files.. urg..). I'm still searching for the texture that belongs to the stocked ware bar at a station :/
It's grey in vanilla so i didnt touch it yet i think.
Edit: Funny.. Ego changed the Lasertower Fac icon, its now using the universal fac icon. They are so rare that i didnt noticed it. The Tractor Beam Forge is using the same icon, so i wont change it. 2 Facs out there without an icon
Edit2: Btw. does this Mod cause a modified? I dont think so but if some1 want to test it... *g*

Is possible paul. Just dont have the time today to work on the HUD *g*
TrixX made some nice changes/additions (i like the gravidar, wanted to make one like this for the next release^^) that i will add/adapt.
For the coding thing: yeah, its not like i want it to be.. you cant even make a multicolored shield/armor bar (okay.. i can make one that changes color on every hit but this just look strange *g*) because the bar is moving to the left, not just depleting and got a variable size (small targets use only a small ammount of the bar..).
About the Fac icons (laser forges).. i'll change them into something like the Military Hud did (i need to change the tfactory to achive what i wanted and that will not happen).

I second that. Boxes are pissing me off.paulwheeler wrote:This looks very promising.
Any chance of getting a version where only the ship/station you have targeted and your owned ships have a box around them? I know other HUD mods have done this.
I hate seeing all those boxes on the screen all the time!

Got some more stuff ready and just going to test a no-box version
Edit: Right I think the no box version is working, gonna hit the sack, sent the updates to you Chestburster
Bit of a change plus a scratch made target reticle. May need to thin it out a bit but the lead circle (also scratch made) matches the inner circle of the reticle when bang on. Much easier to line up

I was thinking as I changed a lot of the colours over to Red as standard with Yellow and Green as the supporting colours for the main targeting functions, I may need to alter the Green to Grey to keep consistency. Change the Ship icons to Yellow for Enemy Grey for friendly and Red for normal (or even Grey for normal and Red for Friendly). Would take the odd colour balance out
Got to alter the boxes too, currently I have on mine the Mission Target as Grey, but they are going to change to Red when I find a suitable replacement arrow texture.
Boxes will get an overhaul too.
Just wondering where to access the menu highlights and text colours at the moment...
