I'm not sure you mean Phantom missile x 100 as they are only able to be fired by the Claymore (Terran M8 )

While I appreciate the Hornet for it's boom-factor you're generally going to be far better off packing Tempests for this kind of event. With a limited budget every warhead counts and a self-seeker like the Tempest would be much more appropriate.

Re: ships spawning 10km from each other. That was certainly the idea when I built the sector, but I'm not sure if the script we're using is capable of that... you'd have to ask the script maker. Smile

How you gonna do this anyway?

you say AI controlled, but how?
script them in as 1 team xenon, 1 team argon?

also, could you make a calculator to do this? im too busy to add stuff up.

Edit #1: In order to not to waste too much money for the victory champagne, I added 40 Tempest missiles to the Odysseus and the Panther. Let's see how that works out against all that ships without rear turrets! Evil Laugh

Edit #2: Added some extra weapons to the Odysseus. Let's see how the AI uses them.

well, id bet if there was a calc, more people would be willing to do this.
then we could have more volunteers to host the battles, make this into a much bigger thing... like could do a league, more tournaments...
no. im not suggesting x3 goes multiplayer, ive been around long enough to predict what everyone will say (almost to the word)
