Hi anyone out there who knows how to stop my games from "not responding" after the cut seens when you capture Ion in ore belt?

I would if I knew what that was but I dont! there is nothing the screen is just black computer freezes and I have to completely reinstall the game! the game wont load after this happens and there is no info to give!
