Where is this script? The only other marine training script I could find in the list is Marine Trainer and that too brainwashes the trainee.

'Marine Trainer' is this script, arcana;)
The script I was referring to is Marine Training Manager by Graxster. It has a number of problems that I don't like, but it does read Marine's skills through the script and let you train a Marine from, say, 3 stars to 4 starts without sending him down to 0 stars again.
One of the problems I have with it is that it doesn't take into account existing skill levels when you do a bulk training even though it's certainly something that can be scripted. Oh well.

Ooopps! I was actually talking about Graxter's script the whole time!
The check can be definitely worked in, otherwise Graxter's script still allows training from a level to another, just use the micro-manager. I never use the bulk trainer myself anyway.

Yeah in 2.1 they are listed in the script editor under Trade\Passengers There you will find a whole list of options to get information about marines including current individual skill levels and over all skill level
